Got milk?

Some milk for Jenna...

and some milk for her baby.

The little girl is growing up. Jenna has really started to talk more and can definitely get her point across. It is just so amazing to watch. This past weekend Grandpa Pete came down to visit and Jenna had a great time. Grandpa taught Jenna all about tea parties. She just loves them and repeatedly would look at her Grandpa and say"Grandpa...party...sit". They would sit at her purple plastic table and pretend to eat food and drink tea. She also enjoyed giving out tickets to the Red Soxs. What a little character. It definitely meant a lot to us that Pete was able to get down here to spend time with us.

Another first has been the discover of a nurturing Jenna to her baby. While out and about this week we stopped at a kids consignment shop and found an adorable baby doll crib and high chair. When we got home Jenna said "chair...baby". We waited until after nap time to start playing with them and Jenna had a blast putting her baby in the high chair and then to bed in the crib. (We have now entered the phase of baby dolls, which means soon we will need to get her another baby doll. The one she plays with now is plush and not as realistic as some dolls.) Once daddy got home we had to show him her new toys. He was a little reluctant at first, but had to admit how cute and sweet it was to watch her. Then in the morning, baby had to get up too. Jenna had her milk and then baby had her milk. Too cute!!! (I'll post pics of that later, I can hear the little munchkin waking up from her nap)

It's amazing how much things can change in a year. I was looking back at pictures of Jenna and she was such a little pip-squeak back then and now is growing into a sweet little girl. I also think it is amazing that I can now dress Jenna in pink and it doesn't bother her daddy anymore. Jenna will wear dresses and will let me put her hair into pigtails. She is sporty yet a princess. The perfect mix.

This picture shows Jenna modeling her new hat. Her new summer dress and her new pink crocs for the summer. We think they will be perfect for our summer outings to Birkdale Village where she can run through the fountain with the other kids.

Last weekend we went to Ellie Gerin's 1st birthday party which was held at the Pineville Fire Department where her daddy is a fire fighter. Jenna had the greatest time playing with the other kids, eating cake and ice cream, but most of all playing in this bouncy moonwalk. She is fearless and had a blast!
