It's funny how fast life can pass you by when you are living it. Sorry for not posting anything in such a long time. It used to be easy to upload photos, since I could just insert my memory card into my laptop and upload directly. Now I have to use a silly cord and I always forget to do it. Let's see what all I can fill you in on from our lives. Well, Jenna loves tea parties. Her grandpa Pete introduced her to them when he visited in April. After his visit, her grandma Deb sent her a cute plastic tea set, which Jenna loves to use to host tea parties with all of her stuffed friends. They sit around her little table, drink tea, and eat snacks. It got so intense that we have put the set

up and pull it out in small doses. Jenna now just asks for tea party, we pull the set out and start to party. She loves to scoop out sugar, pour the tea, but most of all stir the tea in the plastic cup with the plastic spoon. It is so cute and funny to watch. We are headed to NJ on Sunday and will take the tea set with us so her Grandma and Grandpa can enjoy a tea party with their little Jenna.

Jenna also loves to go through her mommy and daddy's closets and bags. She especially loves to pull out our shoes and try to wear then. One morning after Josh had gotten back from a business trip I couldn't find Jenna. So I walked into our bedroom and there she was. She had put her daddy's cap on her head (backwards of course!) and was pulling every item out of his suitcase. I fortunately had the camera close so I could snap a quick photo of her, because it was way too cute to miss this memory. When I walked in she just held up stuff and said "daddy".

We are also becoming really good friends with some of our neighbors who have kids. There are 7 other kids that we play with on a regular basic, and sometimes it can make your head spin when they are running around screaming. Jenna will readily say "Kristin" or "Cassie" when she wants to go outside and see her friends: Kristin (2.5), Jake (6), Cassie (6), Matthew (4), Shawn (20 mths.), Katlyn (4), and Blake(20 mths). Luckily a few of the kids have play sets in their back yards, so we usually play at their houses, but we are slowly getting more outside toys for our house now. I have also discovered one of the greatest kid treats through the other moms. They are Mighty Minis by Popsicle. Tiny Popsicles that are about half the size of a regular one in different shapes. They are perfect for little kids because they don't melt all over the place before they are eaten. We invited, Kristin, Jake, and their parents Michelle and Dan over for dinner one night. The kids had fun watching Cars and playing together.

We are slowly working on getting Jenna adjusted to sitting at the big table with her booster seat rather than in her high chair. The only catch we have is Jenna thinks she can spread her food all over the table, where as when she in in her high chair it is contained. This picture was from the first time she got to sit at the big table. She was so excited to be able to sit up with her mommy and eat cereal with milk!! (The trick is just to put a tiny bit of milk or else you have a huge mess).

It's been awhile since our last post, 'cause things have been busy. Let's see in addition to the normal everyday life we have been busy on the weekends too. My mom turned 60 in April, so in honor of the big day Josh, Clay, Nicole and I hosted a dinner party for my parents and their friends. Mom pulled out all of her china and crystal to set the table. Clay has a friend who went to culinary school and he cooked everything for us, while we served and cleaned up. The food was AWESOME! I think everone had a great time and I know it really meant a lot to my mom that we did this for her.
