Peyton has rolled over from belly to back on numerous occasions and is now working to be able to go from back to belly. Once this is accomplished, there will be no turning back as I will be dealing with a mobile baby. I laugh at her so much because she is such a active baby. Her arms and legs are always moving and you can tell she is just ready to go.
Jenna is growing so much. I looked at her today and tried to figure out when she became this little girl and not my baby girl. She is doing a great job of using the potty and wears panties most of the time. Jenna too is very active as you can tell from the band-aid on her knee in the picture below. She falls and scrapes her knees almost daily, but seems to be tough. With the warm weather having arrived, Jenna is loving getting to play in kiddie pools and on slip-n-slides at her neighborhood friends' houses.

The other night Jenna made Josh and I laugh as she took turns putting Mommy and Daddy to bed. She read us stories, said our nite-nite prayers, and sang us songs. Then she would tell us it was time to go to bed, to stay in bed, but if we needed her she would come. Too cute! Time is just going too fast.
How could I forget Jenna's favorite new thing...we got a miniban (aka a minivan). Yes, I vowed I would not drive a minivan and now I feel differently. Last weekend Josh and I spent Saturday afternoon looking and finally buying a minivan. Our '06 Odyssey doesn't have everything we first wanted, but it had the price tag we did want. Since it was just getting traded in that afternoon, we had to wait until Sunday to pick it up. We left Jenna with a neighbor friend and when we came home she yelled, "Our miniban!" and proceeded to run towards it with all of the other kids. We had 5 kids climbing in and out of it, laughing and having a good time. This confirmed that we got it for our kids, not us. Then on Monday when I had to do the shopping I really was sold. Peyton's door had the sunshade up and she didn't yell while the sun shined in on her. Then as I pushed my shopping cart to the mini, I pushed a button 3 times and all of the windows rolled down to let the hot air out. Then I pushed another button and Peyton's door opened. Pushed it again and the door closed. Then as I loaded groceries I wasn't leaning over shoving things as far back as possible in a trunk to make things fit. I just had to set everything in the cargo area. (I do wish it had a power lift rear door though, but I'll get over it.) Everyday Jenna asks if we get to ride in the miniban and she tells me she loves it. Now our next long trip will be so much easier!
